Budgie Surrenders

Due to an overwhelming amount of budgie surrender requests, we are currently unable to accept budgie surrender forms at this time.  We do not have a timeline on when this will change, but we will remove this flag once we have available means to intake budgies again.  Below are some resources to reach out to if you are currently in need of rehoming your budgie(s):

We currently have close to thirty budgies in the rescue and 48 surrender requests for budgies on our waiting list.  As a small foster-based rescue, we are unable to accommodate the growing rate of budgie rehoming within the Saint Louis area while continuing to help other species in need of assistance.  We hope this situation changes in the future, but until then we will not be processing any surrender forms for budgies.  Any forms that are submitted will be referred elsewhere depending on the individual situation of the family and their bird(s).
