First, draw 2 circles on the cardboard, one bigger than the other. My biggest circle is about 5” tall. My smallest circle is about 3” tall. Consider the size of your bird when drawing your circles. Next, use scissors to cut out the circles. Then, cut slits around the edges. (fig. 1)
Poke two holes in each piece. I used a kabob stick to make my holes.
Now, stuff your finger traps with crinkle paper. Next, stack finger traps on top of each other tightly. (fig. 2)
Then, thread your twine through the two holes on the small cardboard circle. (fig. 3)
Next, place the finger traps between the small and big cardboard pieces and thread the twine through the big cardboard piece and tie it tightly. (fig. 4)
Stuff the finger traps with crinkle paper. Finally, you can attach something to hang it or leave it as is for your bird to enjoy! (fig. 5)
