How can I volunteer?
IMMEDIATE VOLUNTEER NEEDS
HOME VISIT TEAM
Assist in conducting virtual home visits for potential adopters and fosters.
AMBASSADOR PARROT
Have a friendly, harness trained bird who enjoys socializing? Consider assisting with outreach or educational events. Ambassador parrots do not need to be former STAR birds.
EVENTS
Join our event team and attend events throughout the year speaking to the public about STAR, the need for parrot rescue & parrots as companion pets.
TRANSPORT
Have a truck? We are always in need of more volunteers who are able to assist with intakes and transporting cages/birds.
